The Findlay Radio Club had its first meeting Jan. 21, 1921 when amateurs in the Findlay area decided to hold a meeting. The first meeting was held at the Day Cycle Shop on East Sandusky Street. At that meeting officers were elected; Frank Day, president; Roy Shoupe, vice president; and Edwin Tarbox, treasurer. The Findlay Radio Club became affiliated with ARRL Aug. 23, 1946. The Findlay Radio Club was incorporated as a non-profit organization in the State of Ohio on June 9, 1956.
